In Italian, “manicomio,” means psych ward. This funky pizza joint lives up to its name, creating insanely good pizza, calzones, strombolis, entrees and much more in a vibrant setting that is authentic to the Asheville scene. Since its opening in August of 2017 it has been serving Downtown Asheville locals and tourists. Their business model is very different from other pizza restaurants in the area as they are truly a pizzeria, not just a bar that happens to serves pizza.
